Even though we've been in our new neighborhood for a few months, we are still slowly getting to know our neighbors. It's rough to get to know people when you just see them in passing! I wanted to find a way to break the ice with our neighbors with a quick "hello" of homemade cookies and the new Extra® Gum 35-stick pack in Polar Ice® or Spearmint.
Here's an easy and thoughtful gift idea that you can make quickly for new neighbors you want to make friends! This is what you need for the project:
Cellophane
Twine
Hole punch
Cookies
Cute tag
Pen
Scissors
I picked up these Extra® Gum 35-stick packs from Walgreens because they are in durable packaging and pack a punch with additional sticks of gum! This is perfect for a gift because it has a higher quality packaging, and is great for my new friends to split all the extra gum between their cars and work bags! It's always great to have more gum on hand :)
Cut pieces of cellophane to hold cookies
I made smaller cookies so I cut cellophane into 10 inch pieces. Cut a couple of pieces to get started!
Stack 5 cookies from largest to smallest
I put the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies in stacks to create an easy and cute way to wrap them in the cellophane.
Gather top of cellophane and tie off with twine
Such an adorable and easy way to wrap homemade treats!
Write a quick note on a tag then tie around cookie bag
I wanted to write a short but sweet note because I'd rather focus on chatting with my new neighbors at the door!
Wrap twine around Extra® Gum and tie with a bow
I wrapped my gum packaging in a piece of twine so it would match the homemade treat bag and be dolled up a bit!
Gift to new neighbors and create friends!
How would you use the additional gum in the Extra® Gum 35-stick packs? Who would you gift it to?

We'll be moving (hopefully) soon so I definitely need to remember this to help break the ice for us as well! ~ Client
