Weekend Brunchin'

This past Saturday morning I ventured out with my best girls to try a new restaurant called Baked that recently opened in Provo. It's a bakery and cafe, so we had to indulge in treats with our sandwiches ;)

We each tried out different sandwiches and enjoyed everything on our plates! Since it was all our first time into the restaurant, the manager gave us all free loaves of bread. Ummm, SO COOL

After we had eaten I shared with my girls the amazingness of Shoedazzle and had them play rock-paper-scissors for the free Shoedazzle credit ;) I was so excited to share one of my favorite shoe sites with my best friends! Shoedazzle not only has adorable shoes but their customer service is top notch!

After lunch I wanted to show off my Shoedazzle wedges and the girls hopped in for an impromptu photoshoot, I guess you can never have enough pictures ;)

These girls are the best!! Need to start brunching more often because it is a total blast :) Happy almost weekend!

Urban + Feminine Casual

This past weekend my dad was in town and we made a trip up to Salt Lake City to eat at one of our favorite eating places, Texas de Brazil! I wanted to wear something comfortable to go shopping in, but also fun and city casual. I will just warn you that my hair is the hot-mess-express in these pics, so lets just focus on everything else that is cute ;)

I enjoyed pairing my new blush Steve Madden bag with all these fun accessories! Bow wedges, lace earring studs, striped peplum tee, chunky multi-colored necklace, and a simple grey utility jacket to pull the look together. I tend to dress more feminine as the weather warms up, and I love donning all the bright and fun colors!

The Path to Online Security

Nowadays my generation tend to put a LOT of our personal information online. I'm sure we don't even realize how much private info we are sharing with websites and social media apps. That is an extremely scary thought!! Especially when I see some heinous pictures from years and years ago...

Luckily there are programs out there that can help protect my personal information and even back it up on all of my electronic devices! Since tax season is upon us, then we've all got to think about the sensitive information we are submitting online about our partners and/or dependents. Protect your digital presence with Norton Security with different programs such as: Norton Security, Norton Security With Backup, and Norton Small Business.

^The path to online security! ;)

There is a program for you and all of your family's needs! What makes this an even easier decision to purchase online security is that there are Coupons.com Norton coupon codes! It's a win-win if you ask me :) Be safe online my friends!

Hawaii Starter Kit

I probably mention this too much on social media, but I'm going to Hawaii in April for a family vacation and I'm so stoked! I've started purchasing warm weather pieces so I can start to put together a fun and functional mini-wardrobe. These are all pieces I have for my vacation and I'm wanting to get the swimsuit (it's too cute!)

1. English Garden Ruched One-Piece: Just found this site Simons and I am floored with how many cute and affordable pieces that are on the site! This floral one-piece would be perfect for learning to surf :)

2. Floppy Hat: I love this one with the fun pink stripe! Gotta protect that sensitive skin.

3. Pom-Pom Trim Printed Beach Playsuit: I have this romper and it is the CUTEST THING EVER. It is so flowy and ummm POM POMS. It'll be great for a quick cover-up to wear around town.

4. Palm Print with Pom-Pom Trim: Yet again, POM POMS. This high-waisted loose cut shorts are comfortable and will look great with my all black one-piece swimsuit.

5. Sun Bum Sunscreen: This stuff not only smells good but also protects my skin from becoming a lobster!

6. Rainbow Braided Leather Flip-Flops: I'm still in the process of wearing these flip-flops in, but I've heard it is totally worth it. I'm excited to get them all worn-in perfectly to wear them all summer.

Hooray for almost spring!!!

Easy Like Sunday Morning

This title was the first thing that came to my head, but man oh man it was NOT easy waking up this morning. I've been working a lot lately to prepare for a week-long conference that my work is hosting which starts tomorrow. I don't mind the work at all, because I am so stoked to see how awesome this conference is gonna be! But 4 hours of screwing together tables does take it's toll in the morning ;)

I've been watching a lot of these braid videos to mix it up every once in a while. I don't have my fingers quite used to all the different braids, but at least I'm working on it! Today I tried the Pulled Apart Dutch Fishtail, which was actually pretty easy but I need to work on incorporating my side bangs a bit tighter so they don't loosen up so easy.

These shoes make look like death height but they are seriously SO COMFY. I'm getting another pair in cognac as soon as they come back into stock. They are going to be my new go-to shoe for the warmer weather. Speaking of warmer weather...I'm going to go enjoy it right now. Happy Sunday! :)

Layers 'n Lashes

Since the holidays I have been OBSESSED with lash extensions, and I'm so grateful to have an awesome girl who is willing to hang with me for a couple hours every few weeks ;) Nicole from Layers 'n Lashes uses high quality products and does a fantastic job with my lashes. Lashes can last up to 6 weeks, but it is recommended to get them filled every 4-5 weeks to keep them looking great.

I just got them filled tonight and will be getting them filled in again at the end of the month before heading off on vacation! I love that I can just wake up, do minimal make-up, and be ready to go to work within a few minutes time. It's nice waking up and looking fab every day :)

Go say hi at Layers 'n Lashes!
