Pearl Harbor

It's crazy that we've been back from Hawaii for only a week! I feel like it was a lifetime ago. The first day we flew into the Honolulu airport on the island of Oahu, and drove right over to Pearl Harbor because it was so close to the airport.

It was a gorgeous day, the surroundings beautiful, and the area felt so sacred. Watching all the videos about the day Pearl Harbor was bombed and reading all the names of lives that were lost were very humbling. It made me feel so proud to be an American, and to be part of such a great country.

After our visit to Pearl Harbor we ate at Zippys (plate lunch is delishhh), and started to make our way to the house waiting for us on the other side of the island near Laie!

Traveling with Audible

I've been reading this book "The Girl On the Train" for a while now, just reading bits and pieces when I have time. I'm in the car or working on my computer so often, that I've looked into downloading an Audible copy online! Especially since I can listen to my audiobook on my iPad, phone, or computer; which makes it super convenient! Audible has 150,000 titles to choose from, and you will receive your first book free upon signing up.

You can try Audible for free for 30 days, and you better hop on the offer because it only lasts until April 30th! There are also Coupons.com Audible coupon codes for my budget-conscious friends around here :) I'll be snagging one before my summer trips!

Prep for Summer with European Wax Center

This past weekend I visited the European Wax Center in Draper, UT to prep for my vacation. I used to frequent the salon for waxes growing up because I was constantly at the beach or pool! Since moving to Utah I'm unfortunately not in the sun as much, so I went on the search for a highly rated salon or wax center and found EWC. It is such a pain to shave every single day, which is why I visited the European Wax Center so they could help me out!

I scheduled a Brazilian wax so I could feel confident in my swimsuits and save myself time during the trip. While getting a Brazilian wax is notoriously known for not being comfortable, my esthetician Carolina made it as comfortable and fast as possible. Which I definitely appreciated!

European Wax Center uses an exclusive comfort wax, it's a hard stripless wax which is surprisingly gentle. EWC is the only company in the WORLD who uses this type of wax! After the waxing session Carolina applied the Ingrown Hair Serum which everyone in the Draper location raved about, saying it was their best product. It prevents bumps, breakouts, and irritation after a waxing session. Ummm, pretty much amazing!

EWC offers year-long wax passes or various packages to make it more convenient and affordable for your hair-removal needs. They even have a payment plan option, which makes it easier on your wallet! Make sure to visit European Wax Center before your spring/summer vacations!

Light & Airy

This look is from a while ago! I wore it to my friend Lauren's baby gender reveal party, and we found out Baby Hiatt is going to be a boy! So excited for her :)

I know I haven't been around these parts in a while, and it really bums me out! I enjoy writing down updates from my life, sharing fun outfits, and connecting with my readers; but life sure does get in the way. Although, I'm super excited because I have some fun posts lined up about prep for my Hawaii trip and all the fun stuff I'll be doing and wearing while I'm there! Huzzah!
