Don't Have a Summer Beauty Meltdown

*This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #WalgreensBeauty #CollectiveBias*

With it being so hot outside, I'm having a mental and beauty meltdown! I'm constantly sweating, my hair is flat, and makeup is falling off my face. Lucky for you, growing up in southern California made me equipped for these summer beauty catastrophes. Here are a couple of fast, easy, and affordable beauty tutorials that will keep you looking fab through the heat! #WalgreensBeauty

Here is all the essentials for my makeup and hair tutorials below, and I picked them all up at my Walgreens here in Provo. I gravitated towards the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain because it duh, stains my lips ;) I don't need color melting down my face!

If you hit your local Walgreens between 6/29-8/30 and spend $20 on beauty and/or personal care products (which won't be hard with the amazing selection) remember to print this coupon beforehand so you can score a FREE travel-size make-up brush kit!

I'm typically low-key with my make-up routine, and even more so in the summertime. Ain't nobody got time for that!

Celebrating My College Graduation

The past couple of weeks I have been down in California visiting with my mom and celebrating my college graduation! We hit up the beach, Disneyland, and treated ourselves to a nice pedicure. Getting our nails done is a way of celebrating our big and small successes in life. Plus I gotta look snazzy for all the soccer parties we'll be having at our house ;) GOOOAAAALLLLL!

Not all goals have to be big and daunting, which is why I have made some small ones for myself this summer! I want to treat my sensitive skin with the care it deserves by using Aveeno products, because my skin could use the extra attention. I also want to go the extra mile to make sure my teeth are pearly white and minty clean by using Listerine mouthwash on a daily basis.

After a fresh french pedicure, I made a stop at the local Provo, UT Walgreens to grab my Aveeno lotion and Listerine mouthwash at the conveniently located #CelebrateEveryGoal end cap. I love how it was decorated with such bright, festive, and fun colors! Makes me all pumped to watch some exciting soccer games!

During the trip I also used my Walgreens Balance Reward Member card so I could stock up on points. Any purchase of $15 worth of Johnson & Johnson products on this end cap can earn you 3,000 points; which you can use to get more Walgreens discounts! This runs from June 6-July 26, 2014, so you better hustle and get yourself some points!

This is a big summer for me, with graduating college and looking towards the next chapter in my life. My next goal is to find a job that fits me perfectly and to decide on whether or not graduate school is for me. Got myself a tall order here! Yikes! ;) #CollectiveBias

Relieving Pain With Well at Walgreens

*I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This content has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its client. All health related suggestions and opinions expressed in this post are all my own.*

Spring is on it's way which means that summer follows soon after (and swimsuits!), so I definitely have exercising and staying healthy on the brain. With all this working out I need some good medication to help in relieving pain from using those good ole muscles. I visited my local Walgreens, courtesy of #CollectiveBias, in Provo to pick up some of my medicine cabinet essentials.

First stop I made was to the pain medication aisle to pick up some #WellatWalgreens Extra Strength Pain Reliever. I'm just getting back into the groove of working out on a consistent basis, so this is necessary to help calm the muscle aches so I can hit the gym again! What aches today will be stronger tomorrow, so I got to keep up with my gym visits and biking to see some successful progress!

A lot of friends and family of mine get sick when the weather changes, so it's always good to be prepared with some Emergen-C on hand to help protect my immune system. Plus this is raspberry flavored, yum!

The final pieces to my ideal health and wellness kit was a daily multivitamin, some moisturizing and organic lip balm, along with a magazine to read while I soak in a nice hot bubble bath after working out! I'm a Walgreens Balance Rewards member which means I score some awesome prices on all my health necessities. You know I love a bargain!

What I also love about Walgreens is that they are passionate about helping their communities. There is a program called Walgreens Way to Well Commitment where they donate 1 cent from every Walgreens Health and Wellness product purchase to help bring preventative wellness services to their local communities. This all adds up to about $3 million a year, how awesome is that?!

Now that I have my ideal Walgreens health and wellness kit and my bike tires pumped, I'm ready to explore the city of Provo all spring and summer! :)
