Oh, It Is Love

Valentines day in a nutshell.

Oh gosh, it was a really long day.

 Between a choir performance, craft club, work, picking up Valentines dinner, and a Valentines date...

I was dang exhausted by the end of the night! 

But had an amazing time :)

{Craft Club}

This is a Valentine we made in Craftin' Just Bee-Cuzzz today.

For all you new followers, I volunteer at an elementary nearby and run a crafting club for kids between 1st and 3rd grade, once a week.

This week the kids were on a complete sugar high and thus, were especially rowdy.

Lots of count downs and threatening of no candy next week did the trick.

But how cute are these "Bee Mine" Valentines?!

You can't go wrong with paper hearts, pipe cleaner bees, googly eyes and candy.

One of my girls made a Valentine for me and for Ryan, aka Rios and Mr. Rios.

After we swapped gifts, Ryan surprised me with tickets to The Vow! 

Total tearjerker.

After the movie we came home and made up our quick 'lil homemade dinner.

SO GOOD.

Our Valentines dinner:

Butter & Herb Salmon

Spinach salad w/ craisens, poppyseed dressing, cheese, bacon bits

A Homemade Valentine

I came home this morning after a long day at school, and was sooo excited to see a lil box in the mail with hearts and "Happy Valentine's!" written all over it :)

And yes. 

I am totally one of those girly girls who wear red&pink&hearts on February 14th in celebration of this cute and fun-loving holiday.

With Melina's Valentine swap I was paired up with a girl from So-Cal {meant to be right?!}, we exchanged a few emails and I found out that she went to the same college as me!

And actually has family up here too!

What are the odds??

Just wanted to share Paige's talent, and give her a shout out and say thanks for putting in the time to make and send this. 

This cute lil homemade Valentine made my day :)

Can't wait for tomorrow, to share Valentine's with my eternal sweetheart! <3 Bri

I am NOT a morning person, whatsoever.

And to top it off, I pulled an all nighter to finish up some homework before I left, and figured well heyyy, I'm already up and I have to leave in an hour for the airport. 

Do I need sleep for my 12 hour California trip?

Nahhhhhh.

So I did this whole day on no sleep.

And you guys thought I was a smart cookie.

Why the heck was I in Cali for only 12 hours you ask?

Cause I couldn't afford to miss school and work, and this is the only time I could go!

Evan and I flew down on a 6:20am flight, I went to doctors appointments and Evan to the DMV.

Then we hopped BACK on the plane at 7:30pm.

We got to eat my favoritest breakfast burrito OF ALL TIME.

Gosh, it was 70-75 degrees out and absolutely perrrrfect.
Totes moving back when Ryan and I are done with school.
