French Onion Beef Slider Recipe

This shop/post has been compensated by Collective Bias, INC. and The Coca-Cola Company, all opinions are mine alone. #ItsAMatch #DietCoke #CollectiveBias

My brothers live nearby, which means at any moment I could be hosting an impromptu party with friends and family! I always keep Coca-Cola®  products in my fridge, and our new favorites have been these flavored Diet Cokes®. They still have the same delicious taste, but with a ritzy new can and different flavors to choose from!

Currently my fridge is stocked with the Diet Coke® Feisty Cherry, which inspired me to whip up this beef slider recipe. The dark cherry taste matches perfectly with the dark protein :)

Salt Block Honey-Black Pepper Shrimp Recipe

Once we start experiencing the dead of winter, I immediately start looking at flights to a tropical location. Dreaming of the sun, beach, and seafood. Send me to Hawaii please! :)

When the new flavors for Diet Coke® were released, I was inspired by the Diet Coke® Twisted Mango to make this shrimp recipe! It reminds me of Hawaii because I ate tons of fresh mango and shrimp last time I was there, what a perfect pairing. Find your perfect Diet Coke pairing here!

Ready for Kickoff

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company. All opinions are mine alone. #ReadyForKickoff #CollectiveBias

I love when the big football game of the season comes around, it's a great excuse to try out new recipes to share with friends! This time I wanted to try out 3 different ways to use my favorite RITZ Crackers and a twist on my favorite Coke Zero. I picked up all my goodies from Walmart, which is seriously my favorite place to shop (insert praise hands emoji) since they have everything at such a killer price.

We'll be inviting friends who are still holding strong to their "eating healthy" New Years Resolution, so I made a veggie jam-packed recipe as a topping for my RITZ Crackers. Below is the recipe, along with all the other treats and decor from my party!

Loaded Chicken Salad Topping Recipe
2 cups of chicken (shredded or cubed)
1/4 cup mayo
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup bacon bits
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup yellow onion, finely chopped
3 green onions, sliced

1. Throw all the above items into a bowl and mix. To make my life easier I purchased canned chicken, mayo in a squeeze bottle, and bacon bits in a bag.  I'm already throwing a party, don't want to make things even crazier by cooking all the ingredients!

2. This beautiful shredded 1 cup of sharp cheddar needed it's own big picture ;) Throw this in the bowl too!

3. Chopped all my veggies: green onions, yellow onion, and celery. These veggies make the recipe extremely filling and helps my health-conscious friends feel good about snacking on this all night long.

4. Dash in some salt and pepper, mix, then you're all good to go! This is the perfect RITZ Crackers topping, something that you can nom on in between touchdowns.

For a sweet treat, I made milk chocolate dipped RITZ Crackers. Decorated with red & black sprinkles to root for our team! It's only half-dipped, so it gives a taste of chocolate without being too much.

I'm so short! haha

I love this chalkboard pennant flag sign, since I can change it for each party. The rest of my go-to party items are mason jars, tiered serving platters, and flowers; they are good staples and can be altered for any theme.

The last recipe I did with the RITZ Crackers is putting cream cheese and peach habanero jelly on top. It's the perfect mix of creamy, sweet, and spice!

After the holidays I always need a break from all the craziness! Then after a few weeks I feel re-energized and start to miss my family and friends :) Even though the peeps are frequent guests in my home, I like to go all-out for big football parties!

I always have Coca-Cola at my shindigs! I picked up Coke Zero and wanted to create an ice cream float with a twist. For my health-conscious friends and family, I grabbed vanilla bean ice cream made with coconut milk. It was a delicious option, that minds the waistline!

Which RITZ Crackers recipe would you use at your next football soiree? Would you try this Coke Zero twist on the classic ice cream float?

Springtime Inspo with Diet Coke

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #MyUnique4 #CollectiveBias

With the snow starting to melt, I'm itching for springtime! Flowers blooming, sun shining, and beautiful colors make Utah bearable after a rough winter. I was inspired by the new Diet Coke It's Mine glass bottles to create this casual springtime look. I found a bottle with a unique blue and yellow pattern on it and immediately thought of this mustard floral sweater!

Each Diet Coke It's Mine glass bottle is different and unique, and started to become available during the month of February, for the month of love! With a Target exclusive offer, you can receive 10% off your purchase of (4) Diet Coke It's Mine 12oz glass bottles, available while supplies last. It automatically applies at check-out so you don't have to remember to bring a coupon. Score :)

I found my bottles at the entrance of the store in this fun bottle-inspired display. I was heading towards the makeup section anyways and love that this display full of bright-colored Diet Coke It's Mine glass bottles caught my eye!

Blue is my absolute favorite color, so when I picked up this bottle I was inspired by the bright happy colors and floral inspiration of the design. I picked out my light colored blue jeans, paired them with a cream blouse with fun fringe accents, topped it with my mustard yellow floral sweater, and finished it off with a mint statement necklace!

All these items I already had in my closet, I just needed the inspiration to put them all together. All of these Diet Coke It's Mine glass bottles will serve as inspiration for my spring outfits this season! The color combos are beautiful and the Diet Coke drink it the perfect pick-me-up! ;)

Which Diet Coke It's Mine glass bottle inspires you most? What would you create based off of that bottle?

Sharing a Coke on the 4th of July

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.
This 4th of July we had some new friends come in from Sacramento and I was excited to celebrate the holiday with them! We literally met them last weekend at a wedding, and just hit it off! We wanted to share with them all that Provo has to offer, and eventually convince them to move here ;) Which means that floating the river, watching fireworks, and hosting a BBQ were all in order. Ryan made cheese stuffed patties for our burgers (so delish) and I also picked up some Cokes to share with our new friends. Sharing is caring!

I was super bummed that I couldn't find bottles with any of our names on them, but I found adorable Friends and Family bottles that were just as charming! They had some other fun bottles such as BFF, Soulmate, Friend, and Buddy. Now I'll be on the hunt for bottles that have Ryan's name on it to surprise him at work with a thoughtful treat!

Jaz, my college roommate from sophomore year being a dweeb with the Friends Coke bottle. She is seriously one of my favorite people and I'm so happy she was able to share her best friends Ian and Rosa with us; we had a complete blast the entire weekend!

I stopped by my Orem, UT Walmart location to check out the fun products Coke has to offer with the new #ShareItForward campaign. I ended up chatting with the demo attendant Linda about being a recent college graduate and I asked about her life and grown children. It was so fun meeting someone new and sharing a Coke together! I tried taking a close-up selfie with Linda, but she was a little sketched out about being on "the internets" :)

I found my Cokes at the refrigerator near the cash registers which makes it so convenient to snag one on my way out at the end of a shopping trip. When you stop by Walmart, make sure to grab a personalized Coke for a friend! Delicious & refreshing soda is a sure-fire way to make new friends or to show your loved ways that you're thinking of them :) #CollectiveBias

Here's a Diet Coke to Hold You Over

Here's the sitch.
I'm in the midst of packing and getting ready to bounce to San Diego for my Grandparent's 50th anniversary/family reunion shindig.

Aka, I won't be here for a couple of days.
BUT,
I have done some guest posting the past couple a days and hopefully that holds you over till I get back!
{The title is a reference to a family joke. My mom, aunts, husband and I love diet coke and if we are stressed or need to calm down, we drive through mickey d's for a dc to hold us over ;)}
{This is a DC in a boot. After the boys hiking trip. I guess this made sense to them.}

I did a New Years Resolution list on "Tales for Karina Marie"
With goals to: exercise more regularly, get crackin' on crafts, and to calllmmmm down!

I also did the Marriage, Love, and Fun Feature on "Life Like Honey"
I asked Ryan if he would pitch it on this post and I'm really glad on how it turned out!
We tell the story of  how we met, some struggles that we have overcome so far in our marriage, and how to keep the overflowing love well, overflowing.

This weekend is gonna be well-documented with my handy-dandyyyy Iphone camera!
{Mom's know what that is a reference too :)}
We are doing a huge family olympics, playing ping pong, swimming, taking family pictures, and throwing a dinner party in celebration of my grandparent's anniversary & of family being together.

PLUS
With all my new Christmas goodies {ok, just a bunch of clothes I picked out for myself that my mom wouldn't let me have until Christmas, she even wrapped it all}, I can show off all my new clothes and shoes! Oh the poor boys, they aren't huge fans of being photographers of my outfits. But that's why I love them, cause they do it anyways :)

Welp, I'll see ya on the flip side!

A Cure To My Diet Coke Craving...

One of my favorite recipes ever...Coca-Cola pot roast. Could be cause it's DELICIOUS, ooooor cause it's pretty cheap and super easy to make, who knows. Here it is:

Coca-Cola Pot Roast
1   4-5lb. Chuck roast
1   Lipton Onion soup mix
and
2   cans of Coca-Cola

Directions: Throw it all in the crockpot on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours. Take out and serve!!
And with the leftovers make a....

Coca-Cola Sandwhich!
2 green bell peppers
1 onion
1 pack of sourdough hoagies
Butter
Mayo
Any cheese you'd like!

Directions: Cut up and sautee the green bell peppers and onion. Meanwhile, also slap some cheese on those hoagies and stick them in the broiler till they are niiiice and melted. Put some mayo on the sandwhich, load the sauteed veggies on there, along with the heated up Coca-Cola pot roast. Two dinner nights right there and sooo delish! Let me make your mouth drool a little bit.....
Ta da!!! I need to not write recipe posts at night, I'm starving now.
