Lazy Sunday Lounging

I feel like Sunday is the perfect lounge day, not much happening and it feels so quiet and calm. I love taking that time to hit church, clean and organize the house, then curl up with some good fashion magazines and try and get my water quota for the day! :)

I recently got this tank top from Live Infinitely and it is the perfect tank to take me from lounging to working out! Super comfy, and my favorite color! Give me all the grey tanks :D

The mix I have in my water bottle in this shoot is raspberries, lemons, and mint. Refreshing and delish! Makes it a lot easier to drink the water amount I'm supposed to everyday (which I'm usually so bad at haha).

What's your favorite thing to do on Sunday?

Thin Mint RITZ Crackers Holidays Treats

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #HolidayRITZ #CollectiveBias

The past few years I have chosen a holiday treat and mass produced them for everyone that we know and love! It's the best way to let all the people know in your life that you are thinking of them, without breaking the bank :) I went to my local Walmart and picked up all the ingredients to make these delicious RITZ Crackers Thin Mints topped with crushed candy cane. I had to "taste test" a few before wrapping them up and giving them to friends and family ;)

Below is a list of the ingredients I used, a step by step tutorial on how to make them, and this RITZ Crackers coupon to get 50 cents off a box. Which makes it even more affordable to create your holiday treat!

Ingredients (1 batch: creates about 15 cookies)
1 sleeve Original RITZ Crackers
1/2 teaspoon Pure mint extract
1 teaspoon Coconut oil
3-4 crushed Peppermint candy canes
1 cup Semi-sweet milk chocolate chips

1. Grab a microwavable bowl and pour 1 cup of semi-sweet milk chocolate chips into the bowl.

2. Add 1/2 teaspoon of pure mint extract to chocolate chips.

3. Finally, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil.

4. Microwave in 15 second-intervals, and mix between intervals. Usually takes about 2-3 times to get the chocolate all nice and smooth! If it's not smooth enough, add a little more coconut oil.

5. Grab a sleeve of RITZ Crackers!

6. Dip RITZ Crackers in bowl, and cover completely with chocolate mixture. I picked up the covered RITZ Crackers with a toothpick to then place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

7. Crush up peppermint candy cane, then sprinkle on top of chocolate before it starts to harden. Or you could use festive sprinkles!

8. Place in freezer to set for about 1-1.5 hours to set.

9. Place treats in festive holiday treat bags with fun sparkly clothespins and this adorable treat sleigh!

10. Make tons and tons of them for all your friends, family, and co-workers!

This was such a fun and delicious treat to make for the Christmas season! How would you wrap up these RITZ Crackers cookies? What fun topping would you sprinkle on top? :)

How to Treat Your Skin During Holiday Stress

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #Light2ClearSkin #CollectiveBias

Even though I'm looking forward to the holidays, does it stress anyone else out?! All the pressure of decorating, shopping for presents, and the temptation of sweets unfortunately makes my skin break out. Between the stress and dry winter air, my skin is not happy with me! I'm excited to try out the new Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Mask, since it has the same technology that was previously only offered in dermatologist offices for $500 acne treatments.

I picked this up in the acne aisle at Walmart, right next to all the Neutrogena products. First I opened up the box to pull out the instructions and take a look at all the fun goodies! The product is pretty straightforward and easy-to-use.

The mask comes with a 1 month supply/30-day Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Mask Activator, which has a countdown indicator which shows that you have 30 uses left and when activated it does an automatic countdown of the 10 minutes per use. Every 30 uses, you would pick up a new activator at Walmart for an affordable $14.97 (.50 per day)!

Before starting my light therapy session, I used the Clean & Clear® Makeup Dissolving Wipes to clean up the makeup and residue off my face in one good swipe! It is gentle on my skin, and is so effective that I don't have to do a basic rinse on my face.

The mask is lightweight, and has a nice eye slot so I could read magazines while passing the time! I plugged the mask into the activator and followed instructions to start my 10 minute session. In a clinical study, there were noticeable results on participants after only 1 week of use. How crazy awesome is that?!

Even though I'm literally glowing, the UVA/UVB-free light is not hot at all! What I'm stoked about, is that the light targets acne-causing bacteria without using harsh chemicals. My skin is so sensitive, and this light therapy doesn't aggravate it, which is a huge plus in my book!

I plan on using this mask for the next month, and I'm looking forward to showing you the results! Does your skin break out during the holiday months? Are you looking for an easy-to-use and fast acne treatment? Try the Neutrogena® Light Therapy Acne Mask with me!

Boo-tterscotch & Ghoulish Ghosts

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser, Mars, Incorporated. All opinions are mine alone. #SpookyTreats #CollectiveBias

Halloween is one of my most favorite times of the year! The crisp fall air outside, fun decorations, and the excitement people get with all the holidays just around the bend is infectious. My home is always an open spot for last-minute hang outs, which is why I aim to make my main living areas as festive and comfortable as possible.

Lots of big comfy pillows, cozy throws, and festive items to look at make for a more inviting home. The final touch I add is holiday themed candy bowls, because guests love to grab something to munch on while they are cozied up on the couch watching scary movies on in the backyard by the bonfire!

I picked up my M&M'S Boo-terscotch White Chocolate, DOVE Milk Chocolate Ghosts, and Starburst Halloween Mix with this Cartwheel coupon from Target. I got a little lost in the Halloween section ;) Here's some steps on how to create a cozy Halloween home!

Lots of big fluffy pillows and throw blankets
I switch out my pillow and throw blankets for each season, but make sure they are all cozy enough to cuddle up with and watch a movie.

Place candy bowl by the front door with M&M'S Boo-terscotch White Chocolate
This delicious treat is exclusive to Target! I placed this near the front door so that it is easy for my guests to grab a small handful and walk through the house and check out the decor.

Place another candy bowl farther into the living space with various candy
I picked up another exclusive treat from Target, the DOVE Milk Chocolate Ghosts, with the Cartwheel coupon they were 10% off! I also included the Starburst Halloween Mix in the same candy bowl to give a fruity variety. I spread out my candy bowls throughout the living room so wherever they end up chilling for a conversation they can snag a treat.

Fresh flowers in fall colors
I feel like fresh flowers in festive shades should be on my grocery list every week, it makes me so happy to see bouquets throughout my home!

Think of eye-line from the front door
Lastly, when decorating I think about what my guests see from the front door. It's the first impression, and I want to make sure it makes an impact! Since there is a look-through from the dining room into the kitchen, I decorated the shelf and on top of the fridge!

What treats will you snag from the Target Halloween Shop for your home?
