Sharing a Coke on the 4th of July

This 4th of July we had some new friends come in from Sacramento and I was excited to celebrate the holiday with them! We literally met them last weekend at a wedding, and just hit it off! We wanted to share with them all that Provo has to offer, and eventually convince them to move here ;) Which means that floating the river, watching fireworks, and hosting a BBQ were all in order. Ryan made cheese stuffed patties for our burgers (so delish) and I also picked up some Cokes to share with our new friends. Sharing is caring!

I was super bummed that I couldn't find bottles with any of our names on them, but I found adorable Friends and Family bottles that were just as charming! They had some other fun bottles such as BFF, Soulmate, Friend, and Buddy. Now I'll be on the hunt for bottles that have Ryan's name on it to surprise him at work with a thoughtful treat!

Jaz, my college roommate from sophomore year being a dweeb with the Friends Coke bottle. She is seriously one of my favorite people and I'm so happy she was able to share her best friends Ian and Rosa with us; we had a complete blast the entire weekend!

I stopped by my Orem, UT Walmart location to check out the fun products Coke has to offer with the new #ShareItForward campaign. I ended up chatting with the demo attendant Linda about being a recent college graduate and I asked about her life and grown children. It was so fun meeting someone new and sharing a Coke together! I tried taking a close-up selfie with Linda, but she was a little sketched out about being on "the internets" :)

I found my Cokes at the refrigerator near the cash registers which makes it so convenient to snag one on my way out at the end of a shopping trip. When you stop by Walmart, make sure to grab a personalized Coke for a friend! Delicious & refreshing soda is a sure-fire way to make new friends or to show your loved ways that you're thinking of them :) #CollectiveBias

Road Trippin' Home

After a ridiculously tiring and long night cleaning up the reception, we were overly excited to wake up the next morning to eat an amazing breakfast burrito with our friend Jaz. Chorizo, egg, potato and everything else delicious that belongs in the perfect burrito. Yummmm. After we chomped down we started our 10 hour drive back to Utah!

As we were making our drive out of Sacramento, I kept on seeing people waving at us out of the corner of my eye. I looked over in the lane next to us and saw the newlyweds on their way to their honeymoon in Lake Tahoe. What are the odds?!

I saw this gorgeous sunset as we pulled into Utah, and I felt like this crescent moon was welcoming us home. Until we got off the freeway to gas up our car and it started to slooooowwww down. We were out of gas. Literally 15 minutes away from home. Luckily my brother Jesse was awake and he snagged some gas to fill up so we could scoot the car back to Budget rentals. By then, it was time for some Wendys drive-thru and to head home. As Ryan and I cuddled up on the couch, he gave me a sweet kiss on the forehead and we both agreed that we need to start planning our next vacation together :)

Light + Airy Wedding Look

Since I would be at the temple, reception, and there for the crazy reception clean-up; I made sure I wore something comfortable and classy. The wedding colors were blush pink and mint, so I totally fit in! I bought this dress a couple sizes bigger on purpose to create a flowy shift-dress look which would be perfect for cooling off in the summer heat.
