My New Ride + Maintenance Tips

A couple months ago, I bought my first car! Poor Lucille died on the side of the road last summer and we've been saving up to pick up a newer ride. I loved the whole experience of picking out a car and negotiating a price. It was nerve-wracking and exciting all at the same time!

Now that I've gone through all the hard work of researching for the right car and negotiating the right price for my budget, I'm hyper vigilant about maintaining it with only the best products.

Speaking of only the best, I picked up Mobil 1™ Extended Performance from Walmart. The synthetic oil not only protects my engine, but lessens oil consumption and waste! To see which oil will work best for your ride, take this quiz! Earth Day is coming up in April, so being aware of your car maintenance is a great way to take care of the world around us.

It's crazy busy, so I need multiple reminders to do the maintenance tasks in my life! A few ways I remind myself to take my car in for an oil change at the Walmart Auto Care Center is:

-Add the reminder in my phone calendar. Then attach an alarm 1 week ahead to remind me to schedule an appointment

-Write it on the family calendar at our command center in the kitchen

-Ask the Walmart Auto Care Center to put a tag on the inside of my windshield

In honor of Earth Day,  Mobil 1™ is giving Walmart customers the chance to drive away with a Chevy Equinox! Even if you don't win the big ticket item, you'll have the opportunity to get $10 off your next Mobil 1™ purchase at Walmart. Below is all the information you need to enter!

     -Promotion runs January 15, 2018-April 30, 2018
-You can enter for a chance to win the following ways
-Purchase 5 quarts of Mobil 1™in the store or a Mobil 1™ oil change at the Auto Care Center
-Recycle any used oil at an Auto Care Center
-Purchase 5 quarts of Mobil 1™ synthetic oil or a Mobil 1™synthetic oil change at an Auto Care Center and you're eligible for a $10 Walmart Select Certificate for your next Mobil 1™ purchase
-If you do not purchase Mobil 1 ™ Annual Protection, you can still recycle your oil at Walmart so it is recycled properly, and still get another chance to enter to win the sweepstakes!
-Once you've made a qualifying Mobil 1™purchase or recycled any used oil at a Walmart location, you can enter to win the Chevy Equinox and/or receive your $10 certificate at EarthDayDriveaway.com
-Limit 2 entries per customer (1 for purchasing and 1 for recycling)
-Receipt required to receive $10 Walmart Select Certificate
-Terms and conditions, FAQs, and other info can be found at EarthDayDriveaway.com

How do you remind yourself to do oil changes on your ride? And are you going put your hat in the ring for that Chevy Equinox?!

Nice article on Car maintenance. Found many valuable car servicing advice due to your blog. Another important thing car owners need to keep in mind is that if they are moving to another state far away, for example from Ahmedabad, Gujarat to Chennai, Tamil Nadu then it is better to get help of car carrier company to transport the car to the required destination. there are many firms that offer such car transport like best packers and movers in Ahmedabad ( https://www.assureshift.in/packers-and-movers-ahmedabad ) and more
