Weekend Update: Gap Blogger Fashion Show

{Kat // Jessi // Jody}

This past weekend was a fun-filled one. After going to the wrong American Heritage test review on Saturday afternoon {they're all teaching the same stuff, right?!}, I picked up my blogger friends Ariel & Elise and we made our way to GAP at the University Mall for a fashion show.

A bunch of our blogger friends {shown above, aren't they all gorgeous?!}, styled mannequins and walked the runway in their ideal spring looks. Makes me crave sunny days, flowy dresses, sandals, and bike rides! At the fashion show I ran into a bunch of non-blogger friends {totally random, but hey it's Provo} and loved catching up with them :)

Afterwards a few of us lunched at P.F. Changs where Ariel and I split a lettuce wrap appetizer and this amazing fried banana roll/coconut ice cream/caramel topped dessert...it was just as amazing as it sounds. Sooooo good.

Walking back to the other end of the mall from P.F. Changs we stopped at Francesca's Collections to look at the fun spring stuff they had. This wrap bracelet caught my eye on the sale rack for $10 and I decided to purchase it for some more glitzy arm parties. I get to the register and I'm told that the total comes out to...ONE PENNY. Say what?! The bracelet had accidentally been marked out of stock, but when this one came out of the blue the system defaulted it to being only a penny. Seriously made my life.

On our way home we indulged in some Sodalicious, and we probably gave the new guy at the window a heart attack with our confusing order. Poor guy! He was so embarrassed that he didn't want to tell us his name and instead introduced himself as Juan...Pablo haha! I love those fun blogger friends of mine :)

That is so cool! Everyone looks lovely and I love seeing "real" girls on the runway. What a fun event.

That sounds like such a blast! Especially at a fashion show where the clothes are actually affordable and the outfits totally something you would wear, unlike some of the crazy looks on the typical runway!
