Book Worming With Audible.com

I'm a total book worm, in high school I used to go through a non-school book every 2 weeks. I got to college, my brain went to mush and I then stopped reading for fun. Lame! Now that I'm graduated I've started to pick up reading again, but I'm so dang busy! I've recently discovered Audible.com which offers a yearly subscription to audio books, so much more affordable than constantly buying brand new books from the bookstore. Audible's subscription offer for 50% off so you get the first 3 months for only $7.49 per month. Score!

I love that I can download audio books on my phone to listen to on car rides or to hang out by the Christmas tree with some hot chocolate! I'm excited to use Audible for my 5 hour flight to Hawaii for our family trip in April, definitely better than lugging a bunch of books/magazines. Audible.com is also the perfect gift for your little ones during the holidays, because you can download festive books for them to listen to while you're putting together your Christmas gifts and treats!

One of my goals for the new year is to read more books for fun because it's calming for me. Especially now that I don't have a ton of school books to keep up with! Audible makes this goal much more attainable and easy to keep up with throughout the year. Try out Audible.com's yearly subscription today with these great Audible coupon codes

Feminine Edge

After sitting at my brothers high school graduation yesterday in California, my pale skin finally saw the sun and now I have the lamest sunburns of all time! Just a block of sun on my thighs and some on my arms, gotta love being super white :D

I got this purse from Persunmall, and it is the perfect size and color for summer! I love that it has an extra strap so I have the option of wearing it as a cross body bag. Plus the studs make my super feminine outfit just a tadddd edgy ;)

This phone case from Kidogo Kidogo is not only the cutest...but it helps provide women in Tanzania with mobile devices that serve as a flashlight, calculator, camera, radio, or watch! Kidogo Kidogo has a one-for-one business plan, when one case is purchased then a mobile phone is provided to a woman in Tanzania. Plus, a Tanzanian-based artist creates the phone case designs based off of Tanzania wildlife. How cool is that?!

Now it's time for some Grey's Anatomy, and maybe a little pool time. Nothing beats just floating in a cold pool on a hot sunny day! Happy Thursday! :)

Alexa Z Design iPhone Case

Remember when I was raving about these LDS temple prints made by Alexa? Well, she has stolen my heart again with a new line of fun iPhone cases! I picked this blue striped one because I'm super predictable...blue is my favorite color if you couldn't already tell from my whole house and wedding being blue :)

Alexa Z Design offers adorable iPhone 5/5s case options that are sturdy, which is great for clumsy me! These colors and designs are absolutely perfect for summer, especially if you feel that usual itch to change up your entire life when the weather warms up ;)

Head on over and say hi to Alexa, because not only is she super talented {evidenced by her Etsy shop}... but she has an adorable little girl Ellie along with a bright & happy life that she loves to share with others through her blog He and I

My 5 Favorite Photo Apps

1. A Beautiful Mess
This photo editing app has all the adorable fonts, phrases, and little extras (frames, twinkles, arrows galore) you need to make pictures that much cuter. It is created by the wonderful girls at the A Beautiful Mess blog, and once it came on the scene...it exploded! It's now my go-to for cute writing & various holiday wishes!

2. Afterlight
After using this app, I'll never go back to using Instagram's filters! Afterlight has adjustable filters that make pictures look more professional & striking without compromising the integrity of your photo. Plus, you can brighten or sharpen your picture without the blatant use of a filter.

3. Diptic
This is the only app I use for making collages because it is user friendly, and has adjustable sizing for the space in between pictures. This is what I use to create my side by side outfit pictures for Instagram because I'm able to use 2 entire pictures without having to crop it!

4. Whitagram
Ever have that problem where you want to show the whole image without cropping it into an oblivion just to fit the Insta-square? This app solves your problem toot-suite! It adds white bars to either the top/bottom or sides so you can showcase your entire picture while fitting it into the Insta-square.

5. After Focus
Have you ever noticed that fashion bloggers always have that blurriness in the back of their photo, making sure their outfit stands out? This is my new favorite app, because I can achieve that same look without having to pay hundreds for a fancy shmancy camera! The focusing technique takes a little getting used to, but once you got it down it's a piece of cake!

What are your favorite photo editing apps?
