Breezy Days: Is It Weird?

March 4, 2012

Is It Weird?

Is it weird that I:

Don't really like the idea of thrifting?
{It scares me}

That I'm going to Zumba classes & the gym this week so I can get a pair of VS yoga pants that Ryan bribed me with if I get back to working out?
{I've been saying "I gotta start working out again" way too much, so Ryan took matters into his own hands}
That I am just now understanding the idea of investing in expensive and well-made closet pieces?

That I am the last one in the WORLD who has finally bought a chambray shirt?

That I forget I have braces on and accidentally try to take it out thinking it's a retainer?
That I am taking the advice from my 16 year old brother to watch ANTM for some posing inspiration?
{Jesse you skunk}

That I don't know how to freaking curl my hair with a curling iron?

Get mega excited when I have even one new follower?

That I report the number of followers I have to Ryan on a frequent basis, even when it's just one more from the last time I reported it?
{Ryan. I have 155 followers. *Next day*. Ryan, I have 156 followers}
That I have enlisted my hair school friend to "teach me how to do my hair"?
{How have I not learned anything from the past 20 years??}

That I chant to myself "perfect teeth perfect teeth" whenever I want to rip my braces off?

That I'm hopping around for joy like a lunatic at 50 degree weather?

I believe I am now your 160th follower! And it's cute you tell your husband every day - I would do the same thing, if I ever got new ones :) You and your blog and your husband are all precious though. I love finding new blogs to read!

I have a secret... I hate thrifting too!
I only buy "vintage" items that have been remodelled, so I don't suppose you'd class that as thrifting??

But I do have a soft spot for antique teacups and crockery!
You look gorgeous!
