Neutral Transitional Sandals under $50
These sandals are all on crazy discount at Nordstrom Rack, and would be the perfect transition shoe from Summer to Fall! I'm in love with cognac, nude, and chocolate colored shoes; and they are the best backdrop to a nice dark wash skinny jean and plaid top!

#NSale Affordable Fall Picks
While I love Nordstrom, some of their items can get a litttle bit pricey. I have a pretty tight budget so I only pick items that are going to have a great cost-per-wear. I'll spend a little more on a pair of boots if it means I'll be wearing them multiple times a week and for a few seasons. All of these items are affordable (other than the OTK boots haha) and on my wish-list for when the public #NSale goes live this Friday!

Shop Small at Flip Flop Shops
Currently my family and I are whipping up a delicious Thanksgiving meal and plotting our plan of attack for the best shopping weekend of the year. Black Friday! Shop Small Saturday! Cyber Monday!
Shop Small Saturday has only been around since 2010 when American Express founded the shopping day to help small businesses procure more customers. This year on November 29th, when American Express card holders register their card at shopsmall.com they will be eligible for 3, $10 rebates when they "shop small" on Small Business Saturday!
I picked up these INSANELY comfortable fur-lined Sanuks at Flip Flop Shops in the Fashion Place Mall. This store is a participating retailer in Shop Small Saturday and is offering an exclusive Shop Small canvas shopping bag and sticker to their first 20 customers. Show off that Shop Small pride!
Make an impact by shopping small this weekend and helping to support your local businesses and neighborhood! Also, make sure to stop by Flip Flops shops to keep your toes all warm and cozy :)

How To Do Your Laundry In the Dorms Feat. Amazon WishList
I am a member of the Collective Bias® Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias. #AmazonWishList #AmazonHasIt #CollectiveBias
My younger brother Jesse is now a college freshmen at my alma mater BYU, and I love having him close by! He tends to ask questions that normal freshmen do, such as: What kind of oil do I put in my car? How long do I cook the chicken for? What temperature do I wash my brights on? He has come over numerous times to get help with laundry and to make sure he doesn't forget what I've taught him, I made this infographic for reference!
My parents like to make sure he is stocked on cleaning/washing supplies, so the new #AmazonWishlist feature on Amazon.com would be a great tool for Jesse to let them know when he is low on dorm necessities. Also, if they sign up for a subscription of this Proctor & Gamble laundry necessities box they can save 5% so Jesse is never detergent-less again!
This Proctor & Gamble Laundry Bundle with Tide Pods, Downy, and Unstoppable is the perfect dorm care package that is both thoughtful and useful! The Tide Pods come in Spring Meadow, the Bounce dryer sheets in Outdoor Fresh, and Downy Unstoppables give laundry that extra fresh boost. Boys smell (it's especially bad in the dorms), so all of these amazing smell-good products will go to great use!
The #AmazonWishList feature allows the user to simply add the #AmazonWishList hashtag on the end of a tweet which includes a product they are interested in (with an amazon.com link); and it will automatically add it to the wish list on their Amazon account! Some of the other features that come with the Amazon Wish List is: Save-A-Photo, Universal Wish List Add-On, and Virtual Notes. Then my personal favorite is the Don't Spoil my Surprise, which allows friends/family of the user to view the wish list and surprise them with something off the list without notifying the user of it's purchase!
To help you get the hang of #AmazonWishList, Amazon is hosting a Twitter party! They will be offering special promotions on all featured items which also includes $1 off any of the featured products purchased during the party when using the hashtags #AmazonWishList and #AmazonHasIt. They'll also be giving away 10 Kindles during the Twitter soiree! Um, who doesn't want discounted stuff and the possibility of winning a Kindle?! The shindig is TOMORROW, October 15th from 11-12pm EST. Be there or be square!! Or go square dancing...whichever ;)

I Left My Heart at Jane.com
You know that lyric "I left my heart in San Francisco?" Well, I left mine at Jane.com. About a year ago I found this company that offers amazing deals on trendy boutique goods for an absolute steal. A site after my own heart!
This past summer my mom & I would stay up until 11pm California time {midnight UT time}, waiting for the new deals to reveal themselves. We decided on which ones to hurry up and snag before the inevitable "sold out" sign would appear, and which ones to pass until next time {cause they always bring back some of the best deals.} What's nice is that Jane gives you a sneak peek of what they'll be posting the next day on their Facebook account, so you can be prepared! I still get raving compliments on this necklace I bought on Jane for 14 bucks. {It's ok, you're allowed to gasp.}
{Top c/o Jane}
Head on over to my sidebar and Jane is the first button there {kinda like the first friend on those MySpace Top 8 lists from eons ago...}, and go check them out. I promise you that you won't leave Jane without at least one thing in your basket ;)

Cozy Winter Pairings
When it comes to winter style, it is all about pull over sweaters and snazzy outerwear for me, and Sheinside has so many adorable & more importantly affordable options! It is so easy to just throw on a big cozy sweater with leggings, tall boots, and a beautiful coat; and BAM I look pulled together using the least amount of effort! Before living in Utah, I had never known the joy that comes with sweater, coat, boot, hat, and glove shopping...and now it's one of my favorite things to do! I mean...with all that snow outside, what else am I gonna do other than online shop for cute winter stuff? ;)

Confetti Christmas
This week I'm partnering with ModCloth to be a part of their Uniquely You campaign, by styling a look around this adorable polka dot dress. Seeing as how my escape from homework nowadays is anything Christmas related {i.e. making holiday treats, decking the halls & what not}, I was super excited to style a festive winter look around this Bea & Dot dress.
I live in Utah where it has started to snow, so I have to marry the idea of being creative yet functional when getting dressed. I loved this fuzzy coat because it looks so nice and cozy, and with the black leather lining it ties in the whole look. These tights are not only secretly sexy with the thigh high stripes, but they can also block my poor little white legs from the freezing cold winds! Along with these edgy boots which help to not only keep my feet warm but also in making this girly dress a little less precious.
These gloves look extremely warm, while also bringing out the red from the polka dots on the dress so I don't look too dark and dreary in the cold weather ;) Finally with how high the neckline is on this dress, it makes the perfect backdrop for a glitzy statement necklace! Which is then topped off by some sassy quotation mark stud earrings. I would wear this look out with some red lips and a curled up-do. The husband would have to take me out on a date where we would sip hot chocolate & go look at the Salt Lake temple Christmas lights so I could wear this out on the town!

If the Shoe Fits!
{All shoes from Shoedazzle}
I don't think that it's any secret that I loooove my shoes.
Cute shoes of quality and shoes on a budget.
Through my shoe madness I've found what sites fit my online shopping fancy.
Thus, I've compiled a list and some details of some of the most popular online shoes sites so you can sift out which ones are and aren't your style.
Enjoy!

Shoedazzle
Who is the mastermind? Kim Kardashian, and she does collaborations with Dolce Vita and Rachel Zoe.
Monthly charges? No monthly charges.
Special offers? You have the option of being a VIP member, you are charged $9.95 a month and are able to purchase shoes at a discounted price. These charges every month can be accumulated up to 12 months until you want to purchase a pair. Can sign up or cancel being a VIP whenever you want.
Quality? Pretty much you get what you pay for. For the low price though, they are comfortable, stylish, and hold up pretty well.
How good are the sales? Um, AWESOME. They do additional discounts on sale shoes which gets the shoes down to around $14 a pop. They also do a buy one get one half off on occasion.
Customer service? Extremely helpful and nice. Free shipping and returns. Whenever I have called or emailed them, I've gotten an immediate response and awesome customer service.
Overall score? 5/5. {My go-to shoe site}
Who is the mastermind? Kimora Lee Simmons
Monthly charges? You are charged $39.95 to your card by the 5th of every month, but have the option to skip the month to not have your car charged. If you forget? You're pretty much screwed.
Special offers? 50% off your first purchase.
How good are the sales? Good sales & deals, can get shoes down to $25 a pair on sale.
Quality? I don't think this is the best quality. Cheaply made and fit my foot weird.
Customer service? I purchased a pair of heels from this site for a wedding, and it was a disaster. When I called customer service, the girl had no clue what she was talking about and I had to speak with someone higher up. I was extremely frustrated with the customer service. Plus my package arrived late and barely making it before the wedding I was attending out of town!
Overall score? 2/5.
Who is the mastermind? Rachel Bilson
Monthly charges? They charge your card on file by the 5th of every month, a whopping $79.98. If you forget to skip the month they give you one grace month where you can call and be refunded. But if you forget to cancel the account? They keep charging you "monthly credits" and don't send you a reminder email about the balance on your Shoemint account.
Special offers? 20% off your first purchase. Hard to find shoe sizes 5-11.
How good are the sales? For the fashionista who is willing to spend $50+ on a pair of shoes, they have very good deals for the quality of shoe. They sometimes do a buy one get on half off or the occasional 20% off for holidays or new shoes.
Quality? Very good quality! They are teamed up with the people from Steve Madden {my favorite}, and they create beautiful shoes.
Customer service? They are I would say that they are ok. Not the best customer service I've ever dealt with, but not the worst. When I emailed them, I didn't get a response back until a week later. When I called them, the girl on the other side of the phone sounded ticked, um sorry?
Overall score? 3.5/5.
If you have any more questions, leave them in the comments or email me! :)
